iTunes U is beyond MP3 files...

In general, Podcasting is to create audio files in mp3 or AAC format and video files in MPEG4/H.264 format to be distributed through RSS feeds.

The facts:
It is that Podcasting does NOT require iTunes U as the distributing interface.
It is that Podcasting can be done without iTunes U.
It is that iTunes U does NOT produce podcasts.
It is that iTunes U is to publish podcast content.
It is that iTunes U implementation is NOT a standalone application.
It is that iTunes U is to be integrated with the institution's infrastructure.

So, here are the challenges:
iTunes U relies on another 'Front-End' application for user access.
iTunes U requires design on content partitions for management.
iTunes U needs IT supports with the 'common' requirement of iTunes player and Quicktime player.

iTunes U implementation is beyond the Java codes or how to help faculty to create MP3 files.

What I am going to do? I am thinking .. differently!
