Reviewing a use case of Peer Review

Got a chance to talk to Dr. Harding, aka my big boss, on peer review. I think it is getting interesting and I am excited with the coming project. Here is a use case with Dr. Chaffe-Stengel at Business school.

Here is a quick summery of our meeting last Friday:

School of Business is looking for an online Rubric system with the requirements listed below:
1. Ability to create and share points-based Rubrics
2. Allowing the instructor to evaluate student works through rubrics. No student peer-review.
3. Fully integrated with the LMS; class based grouping. Rubrics will be assigned to the class assignments.
4. No (upload) student work collection. The instructor will collect the student assignments outside of the system.
5. Required information for reporting:
- Student # (Peoplesoft ID)
- Course # (Term Code - Class Number, i.e. 2073-12345)
- Grade points
- Assignment ID
- Rubric Type
6. An export mechanisms for external database systems.

Please add or make corrections if I have missed anything. There is no finalized timeline on the Peer Review project yet. Lynda would like us to develop a pilot for Fall and the preliminary implementation will start in Summer after our Bb7 upgrade. I will update you on the progress of this project (mid June) as soon as I discuss with my managers. Thanks
